Pinnacle Bank Championship’s Cards for Charity Event Raises $50K for Nebraska Nonprofits

June 23, 2025

Vita Nova Maternity Community and The Salvation Army of Lincoln receive funding from Pinnacle Bank Championship event

The Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Woodhouse raised $50,000 for Nebraska nonprofits at its eighth annual Cards for Charity event, hosted by the tournament’s ambassador group, The 15th Club. The event serves as a fundraiser for nonprofits working on the front lines of community care.

This year’s beneficiaries are Vita Nova Maternity Community, which received $30,000, and The Salvation Army of Lincoln, which received $20,000.

Vita Nova Maternity Community empowers women in crisis through its residential maternity program, offering housing, counseling and resources for long-term stability. The $30,000 donation will help expand vital services for vulnerable pregnant women and young families.

“It goes to operate the facility, to house the women, to provide three healthy meals a day, to provide case management so that they are enrolled in the governmental services and any other services that they’re eligible for. It goes for education curriculum,” said Jennifer Tompkins, Vita Nova Maternity Community Executive Director. “It’s very humbling that people care and that people want to offer hope and it just gives you goose bumps.”

The Salvation Army of Lincoln provides a number of services for the community including feeding programs, youth development and Pathway for Hope.

“This incredible donation will go a long way towards meeting critical needs in our community. As the need for basic services like our food pantry continues to increase, every dollar of support ensures we will be prepared to help our neighbors who find themselves in need,” said Major Kelsie Moreno, The Salvation Army of Lincoln.

Cards for Charity is part of the Pinnacle Bank Championship’s mission to create lasting value beyond the golf course.

“The success of Cards for Charity is because of the incredible support from our 15th Club members and the greater Omaha community. We are proud to give back to nonprofits doing transformational work across Nebraska,” said Jessica Brabec, Pinnacle Bank Championship Tournament Director.

The Pinnacle Bank Championship is part of the Korn Ferry Tour and returns to The Club at Indian Creek August 4–10, 2025.
